Sony Xperia SP does not turn on

Hello,

Well I have a problem with my new xperia SP. Yesterday I updated to 4.3 android and after the second restart I did, the phone simply cant turn on.  I am waiting 30 minutes now and I am watching the "Xperia Sp logo" crossing the screen without any response. I tried to reset  but i got nothing. Pc companion is not working cause the phone is turned off. ( to use pc companion you should have your phone turned on) Please If anyone now something, post it here. It would be welcome.

@nikos, i have this problem too..my xperia bootloop after i change the xperia themes with some themes in playstore..
I think have bugs from xperia themes app.
So i use SUS to repair my xperia SP,just keep turn off your xperia SP and running SUS.follow instruction, press volume down while you connect USB cable to computer.
This will erase all your data,

A staff of this forum has written this:-

"To soft reset an Xperia SP you have to remove the back cover of the phone. Then press the 'OFF' button with a tip of a pen (or something similar) for about 5 seconds. "

Try this first before moving to next step!

Have you tried to run a repair using either PCC or SUS - This will however factory reset your phone meaning all apps and data will be deleted

I cant, because in order to use one of of them, your phone must be turned on. My xperia is in "trying to turn on" screen. So PCC or SUS cant "find" it..

No it does not need to be turned on you need it off and when prompted hold volume down and connect your USB cable
