Sony xperia S system crash.

How did it happen: I was trying to download an application from Android Market, which was pre-installed in my phone. Before i could download the app, a box saying: unable to install due to an error, poped out. I then tried to restart my phone as i thought this would resolve the problem but the screen blacked out just before it changed from the screen with the word sony to another one with the word Xperia. I did try force restart and force shut down for times, but they just wouldn't help, my phone just never turned on.

What did i do then: i brought it to the service centre, they told me it was a system crash and they will fix it for me. I left my phone there for almost a week, and i got back my phone just a few hours ago, with everything going back to normal. BUT, when i tried to download an app from the market, same thing happened again.

Please take note that i'd bought this Sony Xperia S 3 weeks ago and the breaking down of its system after just 2 weeks of usage is really making me upset and i'm starting to lose confidence in this model. I don't think the problem is with me because i only installed apps from android market, before that problem occured. So i'm hereby, sincerely, wishing for a solution.

it can be a software bug , but first tell me how are you downloading the apps..?? wifi or 3g..??

Wifi, i've never used 3g to download.

ok , can you try to download some applications from another wifi , if possible..???

and do you find any problem with normal browsing over wifi..??

Sadly, i can't switch on my phone right now.

I have been using the same wifi access point since the beginning but there weren't any problems before that. Could updating software using PC companion have caused this problem? And what should i do at the moment?

why you cannot turn on the phone..??

update your phone with this..

this is an official sony software so don't worry.

and if it says your phone is up-to-date click on install anyway..

this will delete all the phone's data so backup all your files first..

My phone keeps restarting, it just won't get over the screen with the word 'Sony'. And also, my PC can't detect my phone if i connect them using USB because of it's keeping restarted.

ok download the above software , it needs the phone to be switched off so it will detect your phone..

just follow on-screen instructions after installing the software...

your phone must have minimum 50% battery ,
