Sony xperia S lags and freezes, always need a restart to work, help!?
I just bought it 10 days ago. The transitions lag so much, and the phone freezes literally 3 to 4 times a day for no reason. I have to restart it all the time.. The major problem is Messaging , when an sms comes, I open it and here you go, "Message not responding | wait | kill |" dialog appears. I don't know what to do?
I did = reset, hard reset, erase everythimg, kill apps all the time from setting>apps>.
So its been 24 hours since I erased all the data from the internal storage. It no longer lags or freezes. One more thing I turned Auto GPU render to ON. It also improved performance.
I am happy with my Xperia S now.
if u face this. just erase internal storage from device, not USB. erase all of it, dont try to save useless apps. Just clean it up, then reset it to factory. And you will get a clean smooth device.
Actually I didn't bought it, it was bought abroad and I got it as a gift. And there is no resseller here in my country. These devices are imported or come here as a gift usually.
I did. But I just deleted all of it an hour ago. I installed like 35 apps. I slowly removed them, now I have viber, whats app, tango, skype, temple run, angry birds. Thats it.
well.. I just did it. Its been 1.5 hour now its going ok. But I think it will freeze eventually. Actually no matter how many time I force stop the app, or even uninstall useless google apps. They get installed automatically.
And even starts automatically. And never stops like forever.It eats up RAM.
Well. After removing everything from the internal storage. I actually erased all from the device , not by using it as a USB storage on PC. So its been 15 hours and all seems to be working good now. I will update here after 24 hours.
