Sony xperia S lags and freezes, always need a restart to work, help!?

I just bought it 10 days ago. The transitions lag so much, and the phone freezes literally 3 to 4 times a day for no reason. I have to restart it all the time.. The major problem is Messaging , when an sms comes, I open it  and here you go, "Message not responding | wait | kill |" dialog appears. I don't know what to do?

I did = reset, hard reset, erase everythimg, kill apps all the time from setting>apps>.

its on ICS 6.1.A.2.45.

So its been 24 hours since I erased all the data from the internal storage. It no longer lags or freezes. One more thing I turned Auto GPU render to ON. It also improved performance.

I am happy with my Xperia S now.

if u face this. just erase internal storage from device, not USB. erase all of it, dont try to save useless apps. Just clean it up, then reset it to factory. And you will get a clean smooth device.

i wanna ask something..i face problem like yours, my xperia s lags every 5 hour...when i bought it, it still ICS os...and i upgrade it to JB...so i decide to downgrade to ICS and freeze problem still happening...and i upgrade it again to JB...but it still freezing every 5 hour...

may you show me how to erase internal storage from device, not USB as you do with your phone?

please show me the step to fix this phone...thanks very much bro..:)
