Hello there !
First, please excuse my english, I'm french, and it's harder for me to explain such technical matters, differently than in my mother language.
I have an issue with Smart Connect : the app never works when the screen is locked.
For exemple, if I set it to start the Walkman, every day, at 11PM, at the choosen time, nothing happens. But, the event start as soon as I take the phone and press the on/off button to light the screen. I don't even need to draw my locking model.
It's the same for the event "Alarm" I'm trying to set up for the morning.
I've defined the following rules :
* Start at 7AM to 8AM
* Set volume
* Tell what time it is
* Launch shorcut : playlist "morning"
At 7 o'clock, nothing. But, as soon as I press the unlock button, the event starts.
Does someone has an idea to solve this ?
Thanks !

Thanks for your answers, it makes the thing more clear.
First, Sam, I understand the principle to prevent unwanted actions, but in this case, why some actions are programmable with the screen in sleep (like the night event : shut down wifi, GPS, internet, bluetooth, silent mode... and reactivate on the morning), and why not some others, like playlists ? It's weird.
Maybe it could be a suggestion, for a future update ?
boriskovalski : I keep your solution for later, but I don't want to root the phone right now : it's new, and I still have one year under warranty. And like I'm (a bit...) clumsy, I really need it
But, I've noticed something : volume and apps work well for me, even with unrooted phone.
So, if I define to :
* set volumes
* start walkman
* play tracks > play (not the shorcut>playlist option, but the simple "play tracks" option)
It works !
But this :
* set volumes
* start walkman
* start shorcut > playlist > morning
doesn't works !
(I insist : these limitations are REALLY weird ! )
I need to :
* set volumes
* start walkman
* start shorcut > playlist > morning
* play tracks > play
In this case, everything works well, event the "read the current time" line I added later.
So, maybe it's not a limitations problem, but only the (real) need of a howto like "Programming events with Smart Connect for Dummies".
I should get a patent
Unfortunately you cannot alter this. Many functions of this nature cannot be performed when the screen is in sleep mode. This is done to prevent unwanted actions from taking place when you are not using the phone. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

I've tested it on mine Xperia S (when he display turn's off):
1. Bluethooth turns on but at the end of enent it DON'T turns off
2. Music starts and ends correct
3. The volmue level also work normal (when start - maximum, when end - 5 points)
4. Apps are running well.
5. Dial-uper starts but haven't been automatically connect to the opponent (need to push "green button" for connection)
I have UNLOCKED bootloader and custom kernel, but STOCK firmware 2.55..
