Recently jelly bean update of xperia  p has been released.sony mobile can you please give rooting procedure of xperia p updated to jelly bean 4.1.2

There is still not an easy way to root Xperia P running Jelly Bean. You can find various methods on xda developers, but I don't recommend using them. I would just wait for an easy root method to come out. However, if you want to get into all that kind of trouble with the current rooting methods, it's your choice.

if ue past ur warranty and have an unlocked BL then just flash any custom kernel to obtain root.

then your doomed. LOL. XD

Hi kalog,

I tried the steps tat u mentioned and this is wat happened.

 The system cannot find the path specified.

I tried in command prompt (I didnt know where to go). Can you tell me how to start and where to do this ?

first enable usb debugging mode, then enable unknown sources from security, now download the v14 version from the link and unzip it .. now click on runme.bat file then the procedure starts in cmd .. there it asks to type some three lines type it and you are done !!
