Reject call with SMS feature not working for my Xperia SP

Hi Support Team

Can you help me to understand why Reject call with SMS feature not working on my phone ,I can pull up the list of pre define messages then select one but it never went out (I cannot even see small notification screen on my main screen after doing this)

here are detail for my handset with some troubleshooting steps done so far.

Model :Xperia SP C5302

Current Build Number :12.0.A.2.254

so far i have done below steps

> Restart the phone

> Replace the SIM

> Run my Handset in safe mode still not luck

just to add I have purchase this handset few days back and I am facing this problem from very first day and Normal SMS are working fine.my friend is using same handset on same software release (12.0.A.2.254) but no issue with his handset.

Did you just do a normal restart or a hard reset?

What you can do is,download Sony PC Companion and create a backup.Next,perform a Factory Data Reset(this will wipe all of your data in the internal storage,backup everything for safety reasons).Then try it again.

If that doesn't work,try fixing it using SUS(Sony Update Serivce).It basically fixes software related issue.As far as i can see,your problems might be listed in software issue.

finally i went for Factory Data Reset and it works !!!!!, i used the preloaded Backup and restore app in my cell  but that was a mess ,lost some data in process and got that default app again got installed which came as default with handset and i already had deleted ,lost all app's updates ,anyway google backup help me out here atleast for data.

                                                             surprise to see no response from sony support team on this for long but thanks for your input
