You can use media go or pc companion, these are from sony.Personally,I also like myphone explorer.
I connect my phone to my Pc create a folder and call it for example Favorites or the name of the album and simply copy and paste the mp3's across however in order for random songs to stay in the same folder on my Pc I would use a free program called mp3tag and tag my Favorites with the same title ie: Album is Favorites leaving the song name intact thus when on my phone they will appear in the same folder and not get mixed up into different category's if the album has two CD's then I would create the one folder and copy and paste all songs from both CD's into one folder thus on your phone you won't have two folders called CD1 and CD2
I perfer using any sorta program to organize my music becuase I have 1000+ music.
I used Media Go to sync music to my HTC and Xperia S, but i'm having trouble on showing
some album art on my xperiaS. Those album arts were fine on my PC and htc, but my xperia S.
However, If i edit the album detail via media go, those album art would appear on my phone,
but then when i change the data back, the album art disappeared.Still trying to solve this issue.
I'm kinda a perfectionist, i want my music to show full details.
Thanks guys.
I was in the past just like you with my songs,I used to edit them directly from the phone.
Are your meta data or Album art showing up in your Phone when you sync music via Media Go?
Recently, I realized that if I added album art cover to the music
that i had never synchronized to my phone via Media Go before, then I sync that music
the album art would appear on my phone perfectly fine.
But if I added the album art to the music that I had previously synchronized to my phone,
then I sync the music i just added album cover
the album art wouldn't appear on my phone, and I will have to clear the "media storage" on my phone,
wait for my phone to rescan in order to make the album art appear.
And i will have to wait for a long time if i plug my phone to my pc becuase media go would
re-scan all my music for couple hrs due to the size of my music library.
I do not use Media Go,so I cannot tell you for sure how does it work.
