phone overheats and constantly shutting down, saying sim card removed?

Phone constantly overheats, shutting down constantly, sim card removed?

The drain on the battery lately is shocking, doesn't even last for an hour, had it for over a year, no bother,  but this is doing my head in.

Any help greatly received.

I just experienced this problem yesterday when my phone, a ZL, while watchig a movie, suddenly overheats and boom, shuts down. I tried to power it on again and again but it keeps shutting down after the Sony logo appears. Finally, after plugging the charger and turning the power on, wow, it is now functional. But after the battery was fully charged and after unplugging it, the phone shuts down again and again and again after several tries of re-opening it. Now, I can only my phone while charging. This can be very dangerous I know, but hey, Sony, do you even care?

I had the same problem with Xperia T, it started crashing with the camera, then randomly shut down while I was using other aps, also phone overheating/battery draining issues and I could only use it while plugged in, last week it started rebooting itself for 3hours non stop as I was unable to turn it off, now I cant even turn it on anymore. My cell phone company said there was a recall on this model but its probably a way of shifting the problem from them. Sony should issue a recall soon if they want to stay in business.. no one is going to buy their crappy phones.
