HI there,
I have a problem with my xperia j. When i plug in my pc, in my phone i can see 2 drives, one is my sd card and the other is the internal memory (2 gb), this one has almost 1gb free space. But i receive a "not enough free space" message every time i try to update any program. If a take a look to storage menu, i see a internal storage (2Gb) with almost 1 gb free and a internal memory (740 mb aprox) and this one just only has 20 mb free. It seems like the phone has 2 partitions. I move all apps that i can to my sd card but i can't free more space. How can i solve this? I have a galaxy and it only has 1 partition (4gb). How can i have one 2 gb partition in my xperia J?
Thanx in advance.
Undelete App and reinstall. If that doesn't work, throw phone in the garbage and buy a non sony phone.

You will be able to move major part of apps to sdcard. It worked for me for my Xperia J.
I also have this problem. It's soooo annoying. I want to delete all of Sony's useless apps that I never use - not the ones I installed that I want to use. Come on Sony, let us delete some of your apps. I'm never going to use Play Books or Play Movies.
I also just uninstalled Firefox (which I prefer to use rather than Google/Chrome) and then tried to install a new app and STILL it said I have no space. How can you uninstall an app like Firefox and then still not have enough space for one smaller app? It makes no sense.
(Mine is an Xperia T, btw).
Sony immediately fills the free space with aplication cache. Even though it is declared free, it isn't. Delete that every time before you install something. Programs that can do that are usually small and can be moved to SD card.
