hi,

i need your help my xperia SP cannot detect my sim card,

what should i do?

few things might be the reason

1. you had a regular SIM card and you cut it, you will need a brand new MICRO SIM card

2. if its a micro SIM card it might no longer work, it happen, get a new Micro sim card.

i used micro sim card.

but when i use it to my other phone sim card it's fine.

is that possible that i have hardware problem with my SP.

it could be a software issue

repair your phone with either PCC or SUS if that doesn't work, get a new SIM card if that doesn't work then take your phone to a Sony repair center

I tried all the suggestions above and no success.   I notice on other forums that their is a known issue with SIM not reading error with Sony SP.  So maybe they will supply a fix soon.  Will be off to the support centre tomorrow.
