No option to use the XPERIA as a modem?

I previously owned a SONY ERICSSON SATIO and often used it as a modem. Using PC companion how come can I not see the option to connect to the internet using my new phone (XPERIA S). Is this a software issue or can this phone not be used as a modem?

It's there under settings / wireless & networking / tethering 

(sorry to clarify these settings are on the phone, not on PC companion)

You actually cannot use it as a modem .. but you can share your internet on pc through mobile's internet connection

Either through wifi or Usb cable

settings > wireless and networks > tethering and hotspots >

Usb tethering > via usb

Portable wifi hotspot > wirelessly

Bluetooth teethering > via bluetooth

Make sure you've switched on Mobile Data traffic

Hi Nabeel according to you ,we cannot create dial up connection and access internet on PC using Xperia (any phone) mine is SOLA neither there is any option to access internet via PC companion like it has in Nokia ovi suite or PC connect ?? please assist me bro

You can't create a diial up connection, but you can share the internet connection .

Means you can run internet on your PC using your phone.

I want to use the my xperia E for bluetooth tethering. I can find the Wifi option, but no bluetooth. Is this option not avalable?
