My Xperia would't sync with gmail

The pre GMAIL app wont sync , it stays on SYNC screen for ten minutes or more. Whats going on?

I think the Samsung windows option would of been a better choice than this confusing slow phone.

Also when i updated the new Android version i lost a few options such as GALLERY for photos.

Not a greta phone choice so far.

The APPS are very limited or do i need to search somewhere other than GOOGLE PLAY?

Have you updated to the latest Gmail application? Have you tried to sync the inbox both with Wi-Fi and 3G mobile network?

The Gallery application changed name in the update so you should find it under the name 'Album' instead.
