My xperia u [ST25i] goes very slowly after update to Android 4.0.4

Hi,

I have updated my mobile xperia u, Model ST25i to Android 4.0.4 using Uodate Center software on PC

but after upgrade my phone goes very slowly an applicationsn,music, pictures, calls, ... etc.

how can I solve this ?

or how to downgrade to old Android version ?

First, thanks for your answer .

but my problem goes after I upgrade my android version, I tried all steps in your link but also my mobile still  very slow especially when receiving or dialling calls or SMS.

How I can solve this or downgrade to previous andrid OS version ?

You could try to reinstall the phone software using PC Companion: 

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phones software >  "Repair phone". 

If you like to downgrade your phone I suggest that you contact your local support to see which options you have regarding downgrading the phone software:

same problem with me

after upgrading the android the performance is not up to the mark and I am not satisfied with this speed.

I am staying tooo far from the SONY service center and  I cant leave without a phone for more than one hour.

plz give me a solution so that I can downgrade it myself.

hi , i have emailed sony about the updates, i had installed them yesterday but i dont like the new setup, and it slows down my phone, and i just want the new update uninstalled as it it rubbish, and plus i cant turn off notifications to ie facebook even though iv tried so you always get them even when the phone if off,

My phone is getting unusable, I am very unsatisfied with Sony.

Also new Xperia companion is not working and I cannot backup data.

So I cannot even try to repair the software.

A lot of time wasted, for no result.
