Hello all,
When I bought my Xperia Neo, I received a free 8gb micro SD-card from class 2. I wanted a faster one and a bigger one to fullfill my new preferences. I bought a Transcend 16gb micro SD-card class 6.
1) Is this compatible with my Sony Ericsson smartphone??
2) How do I transfer all my data from my current SD-card to the new one without losing my installed apps, pictures and other stuff that's installed on.
Thank you very much,
Bartjeuhh

it should be fine copy/paste everything as long as you copy the hidden files
you can follow the steps above, let me be more specific
on your PC
1) open any folder -> click on tools -> properties -> view -> show hidden files
2) mount your phone with the NEW SD card (settings -> storage -> format the new sd card)
3) swap SD cards, mount the old SD card, go to your SD card, press Ctrl + A then Ctrl C, on your desktop create a new folder, open it, then press CTRL + V
4) swap SD cards, mount the new SD card, open the folder you just created, press Ctrl + A then Ctrl C, open your SD card, Ctrl + V
know that you might delete some data stored by the apps on your SD card.

1) there isn't a compatibility list so the only way to find out is by trying it out
2) move all your apps to your internal memory
then
on your PC
1) open any folder -> click on tools -> properties -> view -> show hidden files
2) mount your phone with the NEW SD card and delete everything (save any file that you might want to keep)

There isn't enough space in my internal memory to move all my apps to it 😕
What do you mean with step 2: "delete everything (save any file that you might want to keep)" - are this the files that are created if I mounted my new SD card to my phone and then connect it to my PC?
Is it not possible to just connect my phone, as it now is, copy paste everything to a new map on my computer. Then swap my old SD card with the new one and then copy paste it again and maybe overwrite some files that are newly created (if there are)?
Thank you for your time!

I followed every step and it worked!! Nothing has dissappaered: all my save files of my games, all photos and videos, even all the settings of my apps were still there. Thank you very much!
And if I only had to say one negative thing: the app's order was scrambled. But that was fixed within a minute!
Greetings from Bart
Sweet Enjoy
