moving apps to sd card on miro

My son just bought a miro with his birthday money and also bought a 8gb sd card but we cannot work out how to move the apps from the phone to the sd card, hope someone can help , thanks

you can not, unless you root the phone and use apps2sd

I don't understand it, my last Android phone has this ability and as such I was always able to update but now because my sony has only 2GB of space I can't accept updates, I even went to the expense of buying a 32GB SD card to try and avoid this but now its useless.

Does anyone know how to transfer the Apps to the SD card through the phone, Via the computer OR perhaps you may have a better way?

As it stands now if Sony release an update patch for this I won't be able to download it  and as far as I'm concerned that is (and I'm sorry to say this) a VERY poor show from the people that bought you the Erricson 610i, 750i, 810i and 850i all of which were flawless phones they were even able to recover from being dropped in a bath.

Please help.
