The cables you've seen with a microUSB for charging are probably MHL to HDMI-adapters, not MHL-cables.
When looking at 3:rd party MHL-adapters you may find both 5-pin and 11-pin adapters. You need a 5-pin for your phone.
But please note that we can't guarantee the functionality and compatibility of 3:rd party products.
If your TV doesn't support MHL you can not use that cable. You need a MHL to HDMI-adapter such as IM750.
You will not be able to cast your screen to Chromecast. To to it wirelessly you need a Miracast-adapter.
I have no experience with 3:rd party MHL-adapters but if you want to buy a 3:rd party adapter, make sure it's 5-pin.

I've only used Miracast with TVs that has builtin support for it. I have seen posts here on the forum saying Netgear has a Miracast-adapter that will work.
But please note that Xperia SP can't do WiFi and Miracast at the same time. In case you need WiFi, get an MHL-adapter instead.
Regarding resolution, when you use MHL and Miracast it's the phone that plays the video, not the TV so it should not be any issue.
To use SWR10 you need Android 4.4 or later i'm afraid. SWR10 will not work without its app and the app requires at least Android 4.4.
