I have a Xperia S up to date with the official software available.
I have searched for a solution everywhere, on every site i could find. Finaly i decided to post a question on the official support forum.
I have tried everything, updating, flashing, apps on google play, aps outside google play. I got another Xperia S thinking that the first one is deffective...
SONY...what is wrong with u? I also have a sony vaio notebook because i just love the sony technology but i am 90% sure that this Christmas i will buy an iPhone just because the basic function of a phone is making phone calls and i have serious problems using this basic function with your Sony Xperia S.
IS THERE A WAY TO FIX THE VERY LOW IN CALL VOLUME ?!?!?
I do not wish for an answer like i saw on other posts...answer that sends the user that make a question to a previos answer that does not offer a valid solution. PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!
Thank you !

not at all, it seems to be a hardware issue, just like the X10 at the time
is Sony spying on users in this forum?

it seems like so...but why doesn't sony say : "dear Xperia S, Xperia X10 users u have spent 350 euro or 300 pounds or any onther high price currency on our product and we are sorry because we did not delivered the expected quality. Please fix your problem any way u wish because u really DO NOT CARE !! "
Thank your 4 your answer, at least i feel that some else undertands my frustation !
simple
they have the 2010 fiascos
1st earspeaker low volume
2nd the X10's digitizer was promised to be multitouch but it was only single touch
3rd the x10 mini/pro had dualtouch digitizer but was locked to single touch
4th the X10 doesn't have camera flash just photo light
5th only the X10 got 2.3.3 out of all the 2010 Xperias, the rest were stuck with Android 2.1. and this update was released after 16months the X10 was released
1st 2011 Xperia, Xperia Arc's housing cracks
2nd 2011 Xperia 1st fiasco Xperia mini/pro cicada noise while recording video
3rdd 2011 Xperia fiasco the Xperia Play is still on 2.3.4 even after myriad complains from us/customers still on GB
4th 2011 Xperia fiasco releasing ICS for the Xperia Arc S, Ray and Neo V first instead of the Arc, Play, Pro and Neo.
5th 2011 Xperia fiasco not updating the 2011 Xperias to Jelly Bean
I can add more and more issues.
Keep in mind that Sony is on RED numbers right now and the only part of Sony making a profit its Sony mobile, you would think they will respect customers a bit more
You're not alone, I've had this problem as well ever since I bought my Xperia S 6 months back.
However I was under impression this could be fixed with a software update. Please someone correct me if it isn't so.
yea i had the same problem on one of my sony experia z1 phones
all idid was go into settings / sounds / volumes ie ringtone & vibration and turn all 3 settings all the way up
problem solved for me
