How to Root Sony Ericsson Live With Walkman (WT19i)

im using sony ericsson live with waalkman, some softwares and games ask for root my ROM. i have no idea what is that, i have tried to root my rom by installing softwares but it doesn't work. i used Easy Rooting Toolkit (V1.0), i also followd the instructions before rooting but nothing works.

ok i have flashed .42, or have i, is the processes complete, i can see the firmware version . 42 in my about phone section, and this how the screen looks like after flashingCapture.PNGit gets stuck after this, have i successfully flashed .42 firmware, ??

ok after this when i restarted the phone and connected it to the pc and the flash tool told me to select my device i selected live walkman and at the end it showed root access allowed and   then i rooted it using doomlord zergrush root kit and followed the steps, now i can see a superuser app in my screen, is my phone rooted now?? 😃

you should use SuperOneClick, it's a lot easier, but you can test it by using titanium backup

is there any way of rooting

New ICS firmware (4.1.B.0.587) ???

Update: well it seems my LWW is still rooted after updating to New ICS firmware (4.1.B.0.587) .is this even possible?

Yup it's possible only if you upgrade over the air ( through mobile's update center app )

And you should keep yourself uptodate with the guides :smileymischief:

yes i did update my LWW through update center. i guess it was a smart move lolz.
and yeah i'll keep uptodate myself next tym. i was beeing lazy and m sorry for that 😕

sony ericsson live with walkman wt19i , 2.3.4 android, 4.0.2.A.0.58  //I had my wt19i updated to the latest version and then I have unlocked the bootloader with the official method.then i treid to root it several times with the method of  http://www.android.gs/root-sony-xperia-live-walkman-wt19i .after the 14 Run the “runme.bat” executable (your device must be connected with the computer), my phone reboots and then i can't procced to the 15.You can update your phone from “Settings -> About Phone”; don’t do the same by using the PC Companion, because it doesn't update.i dont know what to do...
