How can I extract contacts from .dbk file on my computer?

Hi,

I have files on my computer, backed up from Sony Xperia S, I do not have this phone anymore, but I need to get important contacts out of this .dbk file. How can I do this?

You will have a .dbk file aka your backup file from PCC - Now you need to be able to change the extension ie: .dbk to .rar or .zip, To do this go to your control panel and look for folder options then open the tab View, Part way down you need to untick hide known extension types then apply - Now the .dbk extension should be visable then a simple rename will fix it - Then as above open the folder and txt document
