Here's a thought Sony

Hey Sony, with the Xperia S nearing the end of it's support cycle why not allow ALL THE BOOTLOADERS to be UNLOCKED with the next firmware update ??

Just a thought :smileymischief:

Re: why can sony unlock bootloader in spain but can't unlock bootloader in other contry?

I don't have any information regarding why this is only possible in certain countries but perhaps it's for legal reasons or operator restrictions.

If your local Sony Xperia support can't assist you with unlocking the phone then i can't help you. If you want a phone with an unlockable bootloader i recommend that you purchase a phone without any operator branding or SIM lock. If you buy the phone from an operator you may not be able to unlock the bootloader in it.
