Help with keyboard

Hi guys, I just got this phone and there is just this one thing I can't figure out.

How do I get to type numbers when typing a text message?

Thanks a bunch in advance 🙂

If the keyboard is the same as on mine, just to the left of the space bar is a comma and to the left of that a key with 12!? on it, together with a smiley face.  Tap the 12!? key and it will take you to the numbers, as well as various symbols and punctuation marks.  To return to the letters, press Abc, which is where the 12!? was.  Incidentally, if you press and keep your finger on that key, it will take you to some 'smilies' - hence the smiley face on the same key.

You're welcome - that's what the forum is for.  Do feel free to ask anything, however simple it might seem.  I do...! The long-pressing thing I mentioned in my previous post is used quite a bit with the Xperia phones, to bring up further options, as is the menu button (the real button on the bottom left with four little squares above it.

Cool, thanks^^

This weekend, I'm going to try out everything possible! I'm just so big on texting.

And I'm glad there are places whereI can ask stuff like this Slightly_smiling_Face

Lots of people like the Handcent SMS application, which is free from the market, assuming you have that where you live.  You can customise it much more than the stock application, which might be fun for a text addict...
