HELP!!! Exclamation & phone symbol only on screen

I need help big time. This morning after i had installed Sony PC Comonaion, i then tried to update my sony experia arc s to the ICS. It then gave me a message saying that i could not update.

So i unplugged the cable from my phone & then tried to turn it on as for some reason it had turned off.

All that came up on the screen was the words sony then an image of a white triangle with a yellow exclamation mark and a picture on a phone.

Does anyone know what this means & how i can fix it?

update your phone with this..

this is an official sony software so don't worry..

and if it says your phone is up-to-date click on install anyway..

this will solve the problem.

I have a black screen with a white triangle that has tools on it and a loading bar down below

 How could I fix that?
