Today i bought a game of Google Play and installed it. When i start the game up it runs ok for a few seconds and then the screen quickly turns black, but the music still plays. The phone doesn't freeze and i can still exit the game and go back to home screen. What could be the problem?
The game in question is Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery and my phone is an Xperia Acro S. Please help i've waited so long to play this game!!

The game developer has to address this issues, there isn't much if anything you could do.
In terms of hardware, your phone is able to play that game.Usually,a game does that when hardware does not support it.I really do not know what could be the issue, could you reinstall the game?
May be a bug from the application, this should be fixed by the application developer no Sony...
That's right. This is an issue the game developers should correct. Although there's a possible fix for that. All my games which had the black screen problem (Carmageddon, Buggy Blitz to name a few) have been fixed by now so I don't remember exactly which combination of those options I've been using so you'll have to try by yourself:
Go to Settings -> Developer Options. Tick slider in the upper right conner to enable access to developer options. Now scroll down and find "Disable HW overlays" and "Force GPU rendering" options. Try turning them both on or one of them. IIRC I fixed black screens back then by using "Force GPU rendering" option only.
Do not forget to disable those options after the games you're experiencing problems with will be fixed.
