ECHO on TIPO Bad -

I have purchased Xperia Tipi single SIM on 11th of November on Diwali festival. I have started using on same day and when I was calling to few of my friends then they complain about my voice and inform they are not able to hear me Cleary and they are gating their ECHO itself on their cell phone. Initially I thought that this might be issues due to network operators.Same issues was continue more than week then done two tests

.I tried by inserting other SIM cards to my phone and then celled to same numbers –Still ECHO was thereThen I want to service center –where I have given my cell phone for investigation and they inform they will take 10 days for detail investigation. During one hour of my waiting period there were three Tipo user arrived with same complain ,out of them one got replacement as he came just after 3 days after his purchase.As a phone voice quality and cell connection as basic characteristics of any basic cell phone. Now hoe come sany haven’t captured in their testing cycle. Its very bad for user that Sony failed to provide basic smooth call connection to user.If this issues is not solved then I will file case against SONY Mobile in consumer court.

Hi all,

I just wanted to post and say that the problem has been identified and a fix for this issue will be implemented in a software update. Unfortunately I do not have any estimated time for release of this software yet.

I haven't noticed this as any general problem for the model but our repair centers keep records of incoming repairs so we can evaluate potential problems.

As Tech support Engineer you can only say this.

As a user you cant image what we are gating after paying full amount to Sony Corp.

One more thing its not device specific issue Its generic issues.

When i went to service center this issues already reported by more than 100 user in last 10 days.

I have given my phone ti service station and that have keep this device for more than 4 days to repair. And then returned this device as working fine..But still issues is there and its 100% reproduce..

I have visited second time and now they are saying they will replace this device.

As a user this is not good ..what image Sony is carrying in customer?

Especially as user i will not buy SONY next time....and along with me you have losed 10 more customers

I am also having the same problem. Everyone who is calling me is telling the same thing that their voice is getting echoed. Its really annoying.

Mr. Johan,

I called the service centre they asked me to repair/update software & then factory reset but that din't worked. It looks like this a genuine common issue in Tipo single & dual sim. Why don't you provide a valid & straighforward explaination on this.

Its known problem for sont as thay have many TIPOS with such problem on even day.

They just running ways from solution which is not good.

They have just chited that thay have fixed this issue by keeping by cell more than ten days and they tried twice but they fail to resolve this issue.

Its seems like that are just buying time and doing nonsense stuff.

coz' i just removed it & checked for echo...& surprisingly it worked for me...can u plz check & reply? Slightly_smiling_Face

Its non sence SONY ....I have even very bad exp with sony not have with anyone even in my entire life

Still sleeping? friend weak up and call to SONY CEO ...we will hit them and thier quality commitment now..

ask your ceo to read their quality policy and vision infrant of all employee.

My problem has to get resolve any how in next 3 days ..other wise i am reday to tye a big knot on Sony's neck through legal action....

Hello Sammer,

Did you get any solution regarding this.

Bcoz i also face the same problem ... as like you i was thought it is a network problem but now i came to know this is ECHO problem even you using your headset problem still same.

worst thing is that their service centre timing Mon to  Sat 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM, which is working times for almost people. so even you want to visit their service centre then you have to took leave ..:(

very bad experience with sony really.
