Does the SP support AptX?

As per the thread title really, I'm going to purchase some Bluetooth earphones and wondered if the SP supports AptX? I know it didn't when the SP was launched but couldn't find out if one of the updates included this, as it's purely software based. Thanks in advance.

There hasn't been any new updates and won't be new updates for the Xperia SP, Sorry, perhaps a custom ROM will do. Check the XDA Forum.

Doesn't matter now, piece of junk decided it would go off never to return to life! Has gone back to the seller and been refunded. Second SP I've had that died, ahh well I've finally given up with Sony phones.
