Delete words from the Predictive Text List

Is there any way to delete words learnt by the predictive text on my Xperia NEO V running on ICS 4.0.4?

The predictive text has learnt many incorrect words.

I did a factory reset a week back but the words are back since ICS features a backup of the system to my Google Account.

I HATE the fact that my phone now when I right go the word appears on top of the keyboard because I wrote "go yourself" to my friend... now how can I give my mom the phone if she said give me your phone son I wanna write ur sister to GO get some groceries? Please help.

I know this is an old thread but I don't have a settings icon anywhere on this menu
