date & time automatic setting

I just came to USA, but the auto-detect setting of date & time is not switching and changing time to the current USA city where I am right now.. No matter how much I turn auto detect setting of the date & time to on or off, it will still show the timing of the country where I came from.
Can someone help me please

In order for the automatic time and date setting to work, this needs to be supported by the operator and mobile network you're connected to. If the network doesn't support this you need to set it manually.

I am not using any mobile network here,, it's only connected to wi-fi.. Won't it be detected via wifi internet connection?

It's done by the mobile network - Stick a SIM in then the mobile network if as said compatible will push the date and time to you

That's very bad for sony. I Went to china and the states with some friends. All of them had iphones 5 and 6 and they updated time automatically once we got there. I was the only fool setting it up manually.
