Contacts not showing in contacts list.

I just got my Miro yesterday and have begun the process of adding all of my old contacts to my new phone, (old phone stolen, contacts not backed up,) and none of my additions are showing up in the contacts list.

The strange thing is if I reply to a text from someone who I ostensibly set up as a contact, it recognises that they match the data put in for a contact and correctly recognises them. The "Top Contacts" widget on the home screen also shows the names of anyone I've texted before with their correct details.

Obviously it seems that the phone is storing the contacts I add but the contacts page just refuses to show them.

I'm currently not and have not begun utilising any contact synching tools so it's not a account synching issue.

Please open the contacts section > menu button > filter > ensure that under the "filter contacts" section nothing is ticked and that under the "display contacts" section everything is ticked.

Gotta say (to the phone design team) though that this contact operation design is counterintuitive, if not down right stupid.

I tried the menu option on Contacts.I went to Filter unselected everything, went to Display Contacts, selected everything and my contact list is still frozen. The letters A to R iin the scroll feature are selected in a grey colour. Of all my contacts, I can only view three names and their details. Help.

I have Xperia-C, and I am unable to see my contacts no. because a circle (such as Updating circle) is accuring consistantly, and filter button is also not sowing properly like that circle is again showing with the same way. What should i do.
