Coating of the back peeling off

Hi,

i got my new Xperia T LT30P for now about 6 weeks (i think) and i recognized that the matte coating of the phones back is peeling off at the edges. It didnt get any scratches and it didn't fall a single time. I made some pictures of the spots:

Xperia T 1.jpg

Xperia T 2.jpg

Is the coating of the Xperia T smartphones just of bad quality? It shouldn't be normal that it looks like that after just a couple of weeks!

Greetings

David

I've never seen so many issues to any other smartphones. It's incredible, not only with the software and parts now it's about the material and fabrication. Is this Sony or some noname brand? Someone screwed it big time somewhere with these Xperias (the Xperia tablet had flaws too with the water getting inside). The Sony service should replace all the phones with problems until finally will show up a smartphone in good shape. The support guys can't do much about any of these issues than to pass it further (and they have also FB, blogs, forums to cover). The problem is with the product manager who apparently doesn't know what he's doing.

I echo those comments 'ghencea'. On Monday I'm going to have to escalate this issue to Sony Mobile South Africa because my service provider said it's out of their hands....which is total nonsense. I have even tried to get a hold of the Sony rep here and there's no response. If Sony wants to see the lack of quality then just compare my X10 which is 2.5 years old and looks newer than my Xperia T which is 4 weeks old.

That's good and bad. Good; because they (Sony) are acknowledging the issue, bad; because the issue shouldn't exist in the first place!

For those of us not versed in you noble language (Flemish?) can you translate into English the last few lines of questions and answers? Thanks Slightly_smiling_Face

That shows that Sony has a big problem with the product manager up there. They didn't make any tests, they didn't even try the phones by using all functions repeatedly and intensive and I'm referring to all models. They just watch the phones, turn on/off for some of them to see if they really work, the clock is there, the apps are loading, some pictures for advertising and that's pretty much it. Unacceptable! They didn't test them for one single week I bet otherwise these flaws would have came up. And save us for money waste and time for trying to solve all this. Thank God they don't make cars.

One word; 'Skyfall'.

Seems to me the Xperia T has been rushed out in time for the film release without a enough testing.

What do you think?

Would be a legit reason!

Why didn't they call the movie "Coat-fall" Dizzy_Face

Alright, could be, but how about the other models? The tablet, the other Xperias, the software bugs and updates, the camera?
