can't view images on gallery. xperia neo

i tried updating the phone but still images on gallery doesnt show up, please help..

yes, run Update Service as if you were going to update and at the bottom should give you the option to install anyway/repair, same is true for PC Companion

algo I want to you to try something, go to settings -> accounts & sync -> tap on google, facebook and uncheck picasa/albums in gallery

and take a screenshot of your Gallery app (and post it here)

can you access music files?

use OI file manager and see if you can  open the pictures https://market.android.com/details?id=org.openintents.filemanager&hl=en

its the default gallery that has the problem.. i have astro image viewer installed..

how about

settings -> applications -> manage applications -> all -> gallery -> clear everything

also go to settings -> about phone

which android version and build number do you have?
