Can't upgrade to 4.0

hello, i try now almost two weeks to upgrade my XPERIA S whit the pc companion over the usb cable

from 6.0.A.3.67 to 6.1.A.0.452 but it always Fails at the preparations (2.step [80%]) for the pc

I get the following message: "components of the software update are not be able to install or run"

i also tried to reinstal the pc companion and run it as administrator but that also didnt helped 

any idea what could be wrong?

Have you tried using

Sony Update Service (SUS)?


also try disabling your antivirus/firewall
