Camera Gallery is taking a lot of time to load the pictures

Hi,

I have a Xperia J, JB, 4.1.2. My problem is that camera pictures load hard. So hard that I have to close it and acces the album from main menu. In album, pictures load ok, altough they first appear blurred.

I found a similar problem on this forum that was solved, but it was for a Xperia Ray which does not match with the same settings on Xperia J. http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-ray/Gallery-taking-a-lot-of-time-to-load-the-pictures/m-p/15669...

Is there anyone who might know a solution for Xperia J?

If you're using a SD-card in your phone you can test to remove the SD-card then change the data storage to internal storage for the camera option to see if you experience the same problem.

To change the data storage go to Camera > Press your menu button (the button in the right corner with four lines) > Data storage > Internal storage.

Hi, thank you for answering.

I did as you suggested. I removed my SD card and changed the data storage to internal storage. I took a few pictures and the gallery seems to load a bit faster. Could it be my SD card the problem, because is too big (8Gb) for the phone to process it? I am mentioning that my SD card is not full, it has at least 6GB free.

i don't think so!! Sony itself offer the product capability upto 32gb card.. so the 8 gb card is not will be the issue!!

In general it can take longer time to load pictures that are stored on the SD-card. It depends on how much data that is stored on the SD-card and which class the SD-card have.
