yeeey, got a new bug!!
in september (when i bought the phone), the pre-installed calendar worked just fine, all dates from my old phone are copied. than, believe it or not, on the 1st of october, the calendar just crashed when i try to open it. deleted it, started new, downloaded it new, and it happens again and again (even when i do not open the calendar, the phone says: "calendar has to be shut down...").
downloaded some other calendars for try-out, and they do start, but don't show any dates in the future, just the ones in the past - or they show in the overview, but the dates are gone when you reach "today".
does anyone have a clue how i can get a working calendar?
thanks in advance for your help!!

Solved! Go to Solution.
Try clearing data for the app called Calendar storage under Settings -> Apps -> All and see if that helps but please note that this will delete the calendar in the phone. It will not delete anything from your synchronized accounts though like Gmail.
Could you check so that you haven't disabled the phones calendar storage. That would cause this problem.
Go to Settings -> Apps -> All and scroll down to the bottom to see apps you have disabled. If calendar storage is disabled you need to enable it.
thx for the reply...
the app is active, no chance there...
after boot-up the message also pops up. "unfortunately calendar has to be shut down..."
also with other calendar apps do that.
SO, i'm not able to use ANY calendar, dates and notices from ANY calendar app!!!!!!!
hey, thanks for the response!
So far, your tip did the job...
Cheers, m
