browser not working

Near my house there are some hot spot that offer wifi connection. If i use my laptop and connect with that internet acces and then open the browser (e.g i open google.com), the page will be directed to login page, and i must fill user name and password. after fill them i can browse internet.

I ever have nokia 5530 and samsung wave 525. Both of them can access and browse the internet with that internet acces. Now i have nokia e63 and wt19i live with walkman. Both of them can not acces. i can connect with internet acces but when i open the browser (in wt19i i have installed dolphin, uc browser 8, firefox and default browser) all of that browser can not open the login page included default browser. The wifi setting has ip address from the internet acces after i connect it but can not open the login page. I hope someone can help me. Thanks

If possible, open the web on a device that can get you to the appropriate page and take note of the url of the page you need to be on then enter that url on the phone when you bring up the browser.

i'm sorry mr jonathan i dont understand with your suggestion. what is security type mean? the security of wireless access point or setting of security in my handphone? The access point is open wifi network, everyone can access it if she/he has account in it. You just need to fill in user name and password on login page. But the problem is i cannot open the login page in my handphone.

if you mean the security filter in my handphone, how i can manage it?

hi all of my friend, i have solved my problem. Maybe some of you have the same problem like me.

1. tap wi-fi on

2. tap wi-fi setting

3. after connected with wireless access point that i want, tap menu key

4. tap advanced

5. tap use static ip

6. fill in ip address, gateway, netmask and dns 1

7. to fill all of that, i ask the owner of wireless access point

8. i can enjoy internet with that access point, thanks god

Like a fool I managed to unistall the browser on my phone.

How can I get a browser back on my phone?

Chrome can be reinstalled from Play Store like any other app, you'll find also a plenty of other browser apps to try out like Opera, Dolphin, etc.

Thanks Quester, and is exactly what I first tried but all I get is "Update Google Play Services" and when I click on that, nothing happens except the "Update Google Play Services"  re appears.  I must have wiped a lot more from the phone than I thought.

Would I get all the original stuff back on the phone if I did a factory reset?
