bbm for xperia tipo

dear sir,

i have andoid version 4.0.4 on my sony xperia tipo st2i but am still unable to install bbm application from the android market.the msg runs "this  item isnt compatible with your device" and the minimum requirement for the application is android 4 and above.Hoping for a reply at the earliest.
