Ok...so I tried using Antutu Benchmark to see if this phone is better than Ascend p7 from huawei, after I start the test, few seconds in, a message pops and tells me that my phone is too hot and it will shut down. It restarts so I figure, something is wrong, I do a backup and then do a repair on pc companion. All goes well, the phone is "repaired" and now I want to restore all my contacts, messages, settings etc. I run the restore process thru pc companion, and after 10 minutes in , it tells me that the restore process failed because my data phone may be corupt, also tells me that the backup file is not corupt is ok, just the phone has a problem with restoring that 250 mb file.
So ...how can I restore my phone ?

I think the blue line is a magnifying gesture, try triple tapping the screen, maybe it will disappear.
I'm pretty sure the only option you've got is a factory reset, and then a software repair. Don't forget to backup (again :D) but you might wanna use Sony's backup and restore app (If you have an SD card) or you can download a backup app from Play Store like G Cloud Backup.
After I managed to restore my contacts and get my messages back, not my settings, apps and all that, those I had to manually reinstall and remake the way they were, even the wallpaper and lock screen, but nevermind the fact that backup-restore option from pc companion is useless, anyway after that I reinstalled my games, which are two. Magic piano and dungeon hunter 4. None of them work the way they were. My touchscreen has serious problems and I cannot play my games,. On magic piano it has huge lagg and I touch one note, actually plays 2,3 notes at a time and on DH4, when I double tap the screen to hit something it just zooms in. I made a few screenshots to show you my new visual bug and the fact that I cannot play anything after the "repair".

how do i factory reset? can i use s.u.s now for system repair?
Hi,
I am using sonyxperia t2 ultra dual as my corporate phone. I had active sync for my office emails. Now since my phone had started becoming vey slow so i took a backup using pc companion and then did a factory reset. but now when i am trying to to restore from the back-up it asks me for the encryption pin. I had not put any pin. Why am i facing this and how to get it resolved??? PLease help since it will be a ginormous pain to set everything back to what it was....
I am guessing since my phone was encrypted by my company so that is causing the issue. I have tried the pin of my phone and all the pins i know but doesnt work. If i start the sync then my phone will get encrypted again and then will i be able to restore????
I tried to take a back-up now and do restrore (This i did post fectory reset) then it does not ask for any pin...
Thanks,
SK
