Annoying Screen Flickering Issue in Xperia S on ICS 4.0.4

I am facing this annoying problem in my 15 days old Xperia S. The screen keep flickering and it is even worse than flickering, it just keep blinking when I open Album/Gallery and could not even give me chance to look at the photos. The same problem occurs when i open camera to take pictures and this camera due to this blinking screen issue made me feel embaraassing in front of my friends as this problem doesnot allow camera even to focus as it keep blinking every second. It makes me mad. The only solution which i follow right now is just to restart the phone and i have to do it on daily basis which is very painful as i do not want to do these frequent restart just to avoid any problem. So if anyone can help me with a solution.

FYI i have tried till now:

1. Software Upgrade

2. Software Repair

3. Phone restart on daily basis.

when you updated your phone, i dont have any notification on phone or when i plug in on PC.

guys i was also facing the same problem but just uninstall the mcafee anti virus surely u willl get ride of ur problem .i did and now its working fine .sometimes i just cant scroll my pic to next pic and i think this is becoz am new on touch fones so my hand is not properly set on this fone

It was very very helpful.I was not able to play any high graphics games. Now i am able to play all the games.

Thank You Sooo much "rvchahal" for solving our woes I've been experiencing the exact problems with my Xperia Acro S since I bought it. But now, I can finally experience it's true beauty. Hats off to you for giving us the solution!
