I wonder if the good version of android that goes to update the PC companion is completely safe for my device, I'm from Venezuela and my operator is movistar

Of course it is safe,it is called JB 4.1.2 and it was released by Sony.

yeah is my choise, it but I wonder if these problems are very common, I have problems with lag on my Xperia ics for this reason I want to upgrade jelly beam, I get the Update for the pc companion but not by my phone

It is normal to get the update via pc companion or sony update service.

Open it,it will check your current firmware version and if there is an update it will let you install.

DONT DONT DONT upgrade your software. Stay on the version you have now!!! The list of problems will grow daily!!

I have read in the XDA forums one guy actually DOWNgraded instead of upgraded.  He was using Xperia Go, ICS then instead of going JB, he flashed GB.  He couldn't use some apps, but was very happy because the phone became faster, and battery lasted longer.
