hi i hope someone can help ive got a str-dn1030 and kef speakers .
i can not get the amp to send all the low level sounds to my sub because i get horrible vibration out of my speakers . i have set the crossover to my speakers to 120hz and as i understand it below this all the rest of the low level sound should go to my sub .i had a denon amp before this and never had a problem with my speakers crackling like this . my denon had a lfe/ main setting which meant if you set it to lfe all the sound that a small speaker could not take went to the sub . I have set my speakers to small on the sony but on calabration stage the amp sets my speakers to large which they are not . its almost like even though i have set my speakers to small the amp is still sending the signals out as if they are large .
its seems to me there is possible something wrong with my amp .
