Sound bar

As I had an LG sound bar I did not buy a new one, but I have experienced difficulties as the height of the bar blocks out the signal to the set. I have now put the sound bar behind the set, but fear that I am not getting the best quality sound experience.

AS the TV stand is not very high, I assume the Sony sound bar has a much lower profile than my LG model.

Some of the newer Sony sounbar are lower in profile, other spot an IR repeater to avoid the problem. Behind the TV is not a real good position since it blocks the sound, don't you have the possibility to put it over the TV (on the wall i.e.)? It would be even better that under the TV. Or you may put something under the TV to rise it up
