Sony Blu-ray player USB problems

I tried to hook my Pass Port external USB drive (Size One Terra Bit) to my Sony Blu-ray player Model # BDP-S380 and with software update M06.R.0632. On the operating screen it show something was hooked up to the USB port, but when I tried to boot it up the player displayed a message saying the device hooked to the USB port was not supported. The drive says it has been formated to MS Dos 7 and 8 and been formatted for NTFS operation. Don

Hi there

The NTFS filesystem is not supported on the BDP-S380.  It would need to be formatted as FAT32 for the player to recognise the HDD.
