Sony BDV-E280 & Speaker stands

Hi, I hope someone can help me, as I believe this may be an easy one to fix.

I own a Sony BDV-E280 theatre system and I have just recently decided to buy some speaker stands; so I bought something similar to these http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/28767269/-/Product.html

The speakers fit, just....however the stands allow for a speaker cable to be ran inside the vertical adjustable pole, however looking at the cable attached to the speaker, at one end there is the connector to plug straight into the amp/Blu Ray player amd the other end is wired straight into the speaker.

Is there any way of getting over this, im no expert with wires, and I dont fanct having to cut the cables to rejoin just for the sake of hiding some of the cabe.

Hi,

other than removing the plugs feeding the cable through and re attaching the plugs all your left with choice wise is for a few cable ties to attach the cables on the outside of each pole on the stand. you can do this and make a tidy job, just cut off the remaining protruding cable tie when done.
