RDR HXD870 - Problems after 10th April re-tune

On the 10th April the Winter Hill transmiter changed the RF channel for BBC from 62 to 50. I have done at least 15 auto scans/replace channel scans with the following result:

Auto Scan/Replace finds the BBC channels (BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BB4) OK - the Signal Strength functions shows them on RF channel 50 and they work.

Power off and power on and the BBC channels show 'No signal' - the Signal Strength function shows them on RF Channel 62 which is now allocated to 4G

Unplugging the aerial, auto scanning to wipe out all channel information, replacing the aerial and re-Auto scanning found the BBC channels on RF channel 50 but after a power off/on they re-appeared on RF channel 62

Obviously leaving the HXD870 powered on all the time would 'solve' the problem but I don't wan't to do that (iIt looks to me like a problem possibly caused by hard-coding in the firmware).

Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?

Hi FredCojones,

there are lot of threads regarding this problem in the forum. This is a known bug of the latest fw of the recorder (1.70). Be sure you have it installed and apply the workaround (you may find the procedure i.e. in this thread https://www.sony.it/discussions/message/1310564#1310564 ).
