RDR-HXD 870 dead hard drive

how do i replace dead hard drive in RDR-HXD 870 DVD RECORDER as if i put new one machine doesn,t recognise new one ,how do i format new one so my rdr-hxd870 hdd recorder will accept new hard drive

Hi,

The recorder needs a special HDD. Please get in touch with Sony´s official spare part distributor EET Europarts to obtain a new one.
