After spending a *long* time in store deciding what to buy, we went for the ZF9 sound bar with rear speakers.
However, after spending most evenings for the last few days trying ever single setting on the tv and sound bar (and performing a factory reset and software update on both), it still won't play any sound from the tv (from tv apps, such as BBC iPlayer, Amazon video, youtube, smart share, etc) using the HDMI cable.
The tv is an LG 55UB850V, which has an HDMI ARC (HDCP2.2) port, which is connected to the HDMI ARC port on the sound bar and worked fine with our older Sony HT-XT1 sound bar.
I even went back into store and spoke to the Sony and LG representatives together, who connected an LG tv to the ZF9 using HDMI only and it worked straight away. They went through all the settings that I have been through numerous times and couldn't work out why it won't play any sound.
Can anyone help, before I take it back?
Thanks.

Hi Grendel_666h
I'm not really sure about the settings of the LG TV (If you need to change the audio output settings), but you seem to have gone through everything. So there are a couple of things that come to mind:
1-Have you tried a different HDMI cable?
2-Is it possible to test the Sound bar with another TV or vise versa?
This will tell you where the problem is coming from and hopefully will lead to a fix once you know where the issue lies.
