EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE

I recently purchased a Sony SVRHDT500B hdd player. Can anyone recommend a suitable external hard drive to use with this particular unit?

Hi there

I have a 2TB WD Elements HDD connected to my HDT500 PVR Recorder. It works brilliantly straight out of the box. It does take about 2 minutes on 'bootup' of the PVR for it to detect. I tried a 3TB HDD of the same kind, and had problems.
