Dubbing to DVD from HDD on a RDR-DC100

I have a rdr-dc100 dvd hdd recorder and i cannot dub to dvd from the hdd as the marker button on the remote is actually the timer button and every time i select 'marker' the timer function becomes active. I have tried to use other buttons to no avail

I have the same problem. I have a remote (RMT-D2580) from an older model that has the marker button (labelled marker instead of timer) in the same spot as the timer button on yours and it works on the newer recorder. Maybe you could try to get one of the older remotes? If you find an answer for your remote please post as I would love a solution too.
