CMT-MX750ni
Hello I'm new to this forum. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to program the internet presets externally to get it to link to an internet channel. I read recently that Sony had switched off their music server and my cmt-mx750ni cannot connect to the only option on the screen (Youtube). I can do ths with my Roku Soundbridge. Roku switched their music server a year or two ago but I can enter URL's for different internet radio channels into presets using my computer internet browser through the wifi router. Presently I'm using my old Iphone4s sat on the fold down panel connected to intune. It would be better if I could select presets directly with the sony remote. Thanks in advance.

Hi Skidsonics,
I'm not really sure if that's possible. But, you'll find it difficult to get an answer for your query here. I wish you all the best, though.
All the best,

Hi Skidsonics,
To be quite frank, I don't think that the set up you're trying to achieve is possible. I searched the manual and found that you can connect to a DLNA server. I'd recommend that you create a Home Network which contains the internet content you'd like to play and connect the system to it. The DLNA connection steps are on page 22 of the Manual: https://bit.ly/2JXfbIK.

Hi, thanks for the replies. Sony customer service weren't much help. They didn't tell me anything I didn't already know like Vtuner switched off a long time ago but that wasn't my question to them. A home network - I'll to look into that. Thanks again.

Hi Skidsonics,
I suggest you try the Home Network and let us know how it goes.
