Sync cable

Has anyone used this cable ( 1m Micro USB Data Sync Cable Lead for Sony FDR-AX100 AX100E AX30 AX33 Camera) to transfer AV from Sony fdr-ax100 to Pc or standalone external hard drive successfully?. Thanks

Hello @ferns3,

 

I have used shorter micro-USB to USB-A cables to transfer files from my FDR AX100 to my PC, yet no 1m long cable.

 

I though prefer to take the SD-card out of the camera, put it into a SD card reader and transfer the files that way, since the camera doesn't need to be switched on during data tranfer that way oppose to when using a micro-USB-cable.
